Why should I advertise on your site?

Military Housing Assistance Fund is a nationwide 501(c)3 nonprofit agency that helps military families to become homeowners. We do this by providing a grant to assist with the purchase of a home. In addition to being eligible for a grant, our clients are already pre-qualified. Your home will be seen by military families looking to rent or purchase a home just like yours!

How do I open an account?

On the left side of the any page, click on the “register” button and go through the registration process. Registration is free and necessary to be able to list your property for sale. Please note that you don't have to register if you only want to browse or buy listed properties; only if you want to sell properties.

How do I list my property?

After you register, purchase a listing credit through our secure PayPal payment process. You can pay using your Papal account or just by using your credit card.

Note: You can always just pay with your credit card when you get to the PayPal payment page even if you don't have a PayPal account. Just find the following wording on that page and click on the "Continue" text link: "Don't have a PayPal account?
Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue"

Do I have to be a member of the military to advertise on this site?

No. Anyone wanting to advertise a property for rent or sale to the military community may advertise on this site.

Can I advertise my property to more than one military installation?

Yes.You may advertise to the bases near your home. You can specify up to 3 bases within 30 miles from your property.

Note: We made effort to include all US military installations in our list but we might have missed a few. If you can't find a base listed in the "closest bases" category then please contact us to add the missing installation.

How do I change my property information?

You can change any information on your already listed property by just simply editing the listing. You can do so after logging in by clicking on your properties title under the My Properties section of your Member Menu. Your listing information will show up and you can edit any details you like.

Please note that each property requires a separate listing purchasing a separate credit. You cannot use this feature for listing more than one property. If you do so your listing will be automatically taken down without any refund.

Can I get a partial refund if my home sells or rents before the expiration date?

No. We consider that a very successful ad. Due to the high volume of traffic our website receives, we hope your property sells or rents long before the expiration date.

How long is my listing good for?

Six months.

How many photos can I upload to the site?

Five photos in all. When you list your property the first time the form only allows two images initially (one main image and one secondary) but you can add more later by editing an already saved listing. Once you saved a property then go to the My Properties link in your Member Menu, click on your property's title, scroll down to the images section and add another image to the Secondary Property Pictures then save the listing again.

How many words can my listing contain?

250 words per listing
